  • A church-wide initiative to encourage us to obey God’s call to love our neighbors and make disciples!

Below, you’ll find our monthly Love Your Neighbor initiatives, designed to help you live on mission right where you are.

Each month offers practical ways to care for your neighbors, build relationships, and share the love of Christ in your everyday life. 

APRIL: Prayer Walk
Prayer Walk in your neighborhood. Pray for your neighbors and pray that the Lord will give you courage to love your neighbors and provide opportunities for you to get to know them. Consider creating a neighborhood map and start filling in the names of your neighbors as you learn them. 
MAY: Start Building Relationships
Let’s start with building relationships!
  • Learn and use your neighbor’s names. 
  • Wave and greet them consistently.
  • Try to have small conversations.
  • Remember important details and follow up.
  • Try spending 15-30 minutes of intentional time outside so you can get to know people.

Also, invite the neighbor kids to VBS (June 1-4). Invitation cards will be available in the overflow at the outreach table. Consider serving at VBS.
JUNE: Sidewalk Chalk Art
Sidewalk chalk art - Grab some sidewalk chalk at the outreach table in the overflow and write some positive and encouraging notes and verses on sidewalks in your neighborhood or on public paths, playgrounds, etc. Cards with verses will also be available at the outreach table.
