Love Your
Below, you’ll find our monthly Love Your Neighbor initiatives, designed to help you live on mission right where you are.
Each month offers practical ways to care for your neighbors, build relationships, and share the love of Christ in your everyday life.
AUGUST: Good Neighbor Month
Good neighbor month – find ways you can do an everyday act of kindness or something “just because”. You could help carry groceries in, share produce from a garden, give out little gifts, help mow someone’s lawn.
Mark your calendars for our Good Neighbor weekend - August 22-23. We will have our annual 5K on Saturday, and a church-wide picnic on Sunday. Invite your neighbors to both or consider serving!

OCTOBER: Community Fall Festival & Neighborhood Trick-or-Treating
Invite neighbors to our Community Fall Festival. Consider serving at it! Then do something at your home for the trick-or-treaters in your neighborhood (ie. hand out hotdogs, candy, etc.).
NOVEMBER: Thankful For You
As you go about your day, find people you come in contact with that you are thankful for and let them know by telling them or giving them a card. If you don’t want to make cards, we will have some available at the outreach table. Consider the postman, neighbors living close to you, teachers, etc.
DECEMBER: Christmas Goodies
Bring some Christmas goodies to the neighbors or people in the community like the police officers, fire department, delivery drivers, etc..
