Groups

You are not meant to go through life alone.

In the New Testament, as soon as the Church was formed, Christians were meeting together, eating in each other’s homes, enjoying Jesus together, loving on each other’s families, and sharing each other’s burdens. (Acts 2:43-47)

Community Groups at PPC can take on many different formats but the same principles apply. We gather in community groups to care for one another and grow in Christ. (Ephesians 4:15-16) God has given every Christian a special role to perform within the local church community (1 Corinthians 12:11-15, Romans 12). Therefore, we encourage you to join a community group (or some other ministry at PPC) where you can give and receive the love of Christ, where people know you and you know them.

Below is an easy way for you to find and connect with a community group. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church HERE.

Meets in members' homes

Our group is mainly made up of  married couples with children from school-age to adult. The focus of our group is a mixture of discipleship and Bible study.  We meet every week to maintain connectivity and include an evening meal to which every family contributes.  We fellowship during the meal and then transition to prayer requests (sharing our praises and burdens) and prayer time.  After prayer we engage in a Bible study of the group's choosing and discussion time.  We also occasionally have social get-togethers.  The evening typically starts around 6:30pm and lasts through 10pm.
