Baptism is an ordinance of Jesus Christ that Christians should observe (Matt. 28:19). We believe that baptism by immersion (going under the water and coming up again) is the best picture of our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Believers who have placed their faith in Christ may be baptized. Incoming members must be baptized.
