Pastors of the growing years

Pastor Dale Kurtz helped PPC celebrate its 30th Anniversary while serving for over 25 years.  
John Mohler, hired during the Growing Years, just celebrated his 40th year of faithful service during our 75 year anniversary.  
With some tenures shorter, and some longer, these men all strove to serve the Lord and our community. 

1974-2001

Dale Kurtz is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. After an 18-year tenure as Executive Director of Youth for Christ, Pastor Kurtz became the senior pastor at Patterson Park Church. He is a man committed to expository preaching and teaching, biblical counselling and a strong emphasis on the Christ-centered home. 

1981-1988

Jack Redrow is a graduate of Grace Theological Seminary. Prior to entering the minis-try, he worked in engineering disciplines for 15 years. He has worked in the pastorate for 6 years, serving churches in Indiana and Ohio before accepting the call to Patterson Park Church.


1983-1988

Perry Reynolds is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. Prior to entering seminary, he served as Director of Hamilton, Ohio Youth for Christ and was a missionary in Europe with Operation Concern. After seminary, Perry served 3 years as Pastor of Education & Youth at a church in Dallas before accepting a call to Patterson Park Church.



1986-2000

Douglas Moss is a graduate of Western Con­servative Baptist Seminary, Portland, Oregon where he received an M.A. in theology and a master of church music degree. He worked with Campus Crusade for Christ Staff in Europe from 1970-1974. Following seminary, he pastored 5 years in Oregon and California.




1985-present

John Mohler holds a degree in Music Educa­tion from Cedarville College. In 1986 he received his M.M. from Wright State University. John has taught music in Christian schools in Iowa and Ohio for the past nine years. In addition to his ministry at Patterson Park Church, he is the Director of Instrumental Music at Dayton Christian Schools, Inc. 





1988-2000

Greg Trout is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College; Beckley, West Virginia, where he completed a B.A. degree in Bible and Theology. He also holds a minor in Christian Education and Youth Ministries. Greg com­pleted a one-year youth pastor training program after college and is in his eighth year of youth ministry.
